2018 Annual Management Review Meeting Successfully Held

On the afternoon of November 5, the company held its 2018 annual management review meeting in Conference Room 1603. The meeting was chaired by General Manager Feng Jianhua, and attendees of the administrative routine meeting participated.

Yang Jinping, Minister of the Domestic Market Department, reported on the scope and content of project requirements review and contract review for the department, applicable laws and regulations for contract signing, and the collection of customer satisfaction information.
Wu Zhigen, Minister of the Engineering Procurement Department, introduced the departmental responsibilities and personnel division of the Procurement Department since the organizational restructuring. He focused on reporting on procurement plan preparation, procurement methods and qualified supplier selection, expediting and inspection work, goods transportation and delivery, supplier management, and the interface between the Procurement Department and other processes. He also put forward suggestions for improvement regarding risk control, procurement of miscellaneous materials, and optimization of the bidding process.

Hu Xiaoqing, Minister of the Engineering Construction Department, focused on reporting the personnel situation of the Engineering Construction Department and the implementation of the company's general contracting projects. He also introduced the progress of project commissioning work and project follow-up visits based on project types.
Han Yang, Director of the Civil Engineering Design Institute, introduced the qualifications and capabilities of the department's professional technical personnel, the measures and methods for design process control by the Civil Engineering Institute, the current status and reasons for design quality in the department, the progress of design quality information feedback, and the management of laws, regulations, standards, and atlases. He analyzed the problems existing in the implementation of the departmental management system and proposed suggestions for improvement.

Gao Aiguo, Management Representative and Deputy General Manager, comprehensively reviewed and summarized the operation of the three-standard system since the beginning of this year. He evaluated the suitability, adequacy, and effectiveness of the company's management objectives, management policies, and management system operation. He believed that the company's three-standard system is currently stable overall, and at the same time, he realistically pointed out some problems existing in the system's operation and put forward suggestions and opinions for the next key work of system management.

Feng Jianhua, Top Management Representative and General Manager, delivered a concluding speech. He pointed out that this meeting was the first review since the company's organizational restructuring and the release of the new version of system documents last year. Over the past year, all departments have formulated management objectives around the company's development strategy and management policy, and these objectives have been broken down layer by layer. In practical work, all departments have paid more attention to the effectiveness of planning and risk identification, and have been able to adopt practical plans and measures for their departmental quality, progress, safety, and cost management objectives, ensuring the smooth achievement of departmental goals. Over the past year, the company has had no accidents related to quality, environment, or occupational health and safety, and overall customer satisfaction is relatively high.
General Manager Feng put forward several suggestions for improving the operation of the management system in the future: First, strengthen the training of the three-standard system, especially for new employees. Second, continuously improve business processes such as project design, procurement, construction and installation, and commissioning, especially the interfaces and management boundaries between various links and departments, to promote effective integration and continuously enhance project management levels. Third, the heads of all departments should take the lead in familiarizing themselves with the system documents, especially new departmental leaders and newly appointed young cadres, who should pay more attention to learning and familiarizing themselves with departmental business procedures and requirements.
Finally, he called on all departments to continuously advance the construction of the management system, treating the three-standard system as a management standard and leverage, closely integrating system documents with practical work, further improving the company's management level, and making due contributions to the company's sustainable development.
