On January 12th and 13th, the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Economy and Information Technology and the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Science and Technology respectively held cooperation docking talks with China National Building Material Group at a joint meeting of central enterprises in Jiangsu. The talks were hosted by Nanjing Kaiseng, and more than 10 of the Group's enterprises in Jiangsu participated. Xu Yiping, Director of the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Economy and Information Technology, Jiang Yuejian, Deputy Director of the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Science and Technology, and Ma Jianguo, Deputy General Manager of China National Building Material Group, attended the meeting and delivered important speeches.

At the beginning of the meeting, Feng Jianhua, General Manager of Nanjing Kaiseng International Engineering Co., Ltd., delivered a welcome speech to the attendees. In his speech, Mr. Feng stated that this symposium will point the way for the two-way integration of industrialization and informatization for building materials enterprises in Jiangsu, and will lead building materials enterprises in Jiangsu to embark on a new round of in-depth reform and transformation and upgrading. Nanjing Kaiseng will take advantage of this symposium to study and digest various provincial technological innovation support policies, learn from the development experience of brother enterprises, and make new contributions to promoting the green, intelligent, and high-end transformation and upgrading of the industry.

At the meeting, representatives from China National Building Material Group's enterprises in Jiangsu, including Zhongfu Shenying, Zhongfu Lianzhong, Zhongfu Carbon Core, Nanjing Kaiseng, and Junxin Technology, gave speeches. They introduced to the leaders of the Provincial Department of Economy and Information Technology and the Department of Science and Technology their respective company's development history, technological innovation work, and technological achievements transformation, analyzed the difficulties and problems faced in future innovative development, and put forward requests and suggestions for support for innovative development to the Provincial Department of Economy and Information Technology and the Provincial Department of Science and Technology. They hoped that the Provincial Department of Economy and Information Technology and the Provincial Department of Science and Technology would open a green channel for project applications, further simplify the application process, improve application efficiency; increase financial support for research and development and achievement transformation; guide and support the promotion and application of new technologies and new products; further promote industry-academia-research cooperation; and provide support and assistance for the construction of enterprise innovation platforms and bases. Jiangsu building materials private enterprise Jinfeng Cement also put forward relevant requests.

The heads of the relevant departments and local institutions of the Provincial Department of Economy and Information Technology and the Provincial Department of Science and Technology responded one by one to the requests of the enterprises. They stated that they hoped that each enterprise would digest and utilize the relevant national innovation support policies, and that they would continue to provide support as always.

Xu Yiping, Director of the Provincial Department of Economy and Information Technology, pointed out in his speech that China National Building Material Group's enterprises in Jiangsu have made contributions to industrial energy conservation and emission reduction, the elimination of backward production capacity, and structural adjustment, and expressed gratitude for China National Building Material's support for Jiangsu. He felt very encouraged after hearing the introduction of China National Building Material's development history. China National Building Material is a large comprehensive building materials group that plays a pivotal role in the industry, integrating research, manufacturing, and distribution. It has 84 enterprises in Jiangsu, with total assets of 400 billion yuan out of 4000 billion yuan total assets, accounting for more than one-tenth. Jiangsu is the largest manufacturing province in China, with a manufacturing output of nearly 15 trillion yuan and added value of 3.3 trillion yuan. It has maintained a relatively reasonable and healthy development momentum during the economic downturn. The Jiangsu Provincial Committee's 13th Five-Year Plan proposes to build a "globally influential industrial technology innovation center" and a "world-competitive advanced manufacturing base." This is a major decision made based on the overall situation of innovation-driven development nationwide, and has significant strategic guiding significance for the future innovative development of Jiangsu. Jiangsu Province hopes that China National Building Material will better serve the local development of Jiangsu, and will establish advanced technologies, more internationally competitive products, talents, and institutions in Jiangsu. The Jiangsu Provincial Department of Economy and Information Technology will also provide more precise services for China National Building Material and help it solve difficulties and problems.

Jiang Yuejian, Deputy Director of the Provincial Department of Science and Technology, expressed gratitude for China National Building Material's contributions to Jiangsu's development. He stated that the Provincial Department of Science and Technology will study the suggestions and requests made by the enterprises at this symposium, and study how to further streamline administration and delegate power to provide better services for enterprises. He also hoped that China National Building Material would continue to give full play to its advantages in research and development, talent, management, and market, strengthen the layout of research and development institutions for new technologies and new products, and cultivate a group of new technologies and new products with strong competitiveness. The Provincial Department of Science and Technology will continue to provide various support and services for China National Building Material's enterprises in Jiangsu.

Ma Jianguo, Deputy General Manager of the Group, stated that this cooperation docking symposium between the Group and the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Economy and Information Technology and the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Science and Technology was very successful. The suggestions and requests of enterprises in Jiangsu have received responses and support from Director Xu and Director Jiang, which has greatly encouraged everyone and filled them with confidence in future development. China National Building Material will earnestly implement the spirit of this meeting, take mass entrepreneurship and innovation as an important idea for future development, give full play to the advantages of China National Building Material's technology and talent, and the advantages of its mixed ownership system and mechanism, and transform the open research and innovation platform into technological achievements and real productivity.

At the meeting, the Provincial Department of Economy and Information Technology and the Group also signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement. The Provincial Department of Economy and Information Technology will open a "green channel" for the Group's enterprises in Jiangsu in terms of industrial layout, promotion of major projects, and allocation of special funds.
