On January 8, 2024, the Smelting Agent Limestone Deep Processing Project of China National Building Materials New Materials Co., Ltd., EPC general contracted by China National Materials Science and Technology Co., Ltd. (formerly Nanjing Kaiseng), was successfully ignited. After 15 consecutive days of kiln drying and temperature increase, the fired lime passed the inspection, finished lime was put into storage, and bagged lime was successfully produced by the packaging system on January 25.

This project represents China National Materials Science and Technology Co., Ltd.'s foray into a new field, from cement rotary kilns to lime shaft kilns. It signifies a successful expansion into new business within the company's deep cultivation of the EPC field in the cement and building materials industry, and it is also the first shaft kiln lime calcining project within the China National Building Materials Group. During the project construction, it received widespread attention from superior units and related enterprises in the industry. The project team meticulously organized and collaborated closely. Since the commencement of construction on March 1, 2023, all employees worked together to overcome numerous challenges, including limited installation space, tight owner funding, and delayed equipment delivery. They raced against time, prioritized progress, ensured quality, and fully promoted the project construction process, ultimately achieving the ignition and production targets as scheduled.
