Twenty years ago, on December 26th, Nanjing Kaisheng came into being; today, twenty years later, Nanjing Kaisheng employees gathered to celebrate its 20th anniversary.

"Over the past twenty years, Nanjing Kaisheng has grown from a small design institute into a well-known engineering company in the industry and a backbone enterprise in China National Building Material Group's engineering sector. Along the way, we have experienced the ups and downs of entrepreneurship and the challenges of growth. The achievements of Nanjing Kaisheng over the past twenty years have been created by all Nanjing Kaisheng employees, and it is all of us who have submitted a satisfactory answer sheet for twenty years of development!" Comrade Chen Changbai, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission, delivered the opening speech.

Amidst a thunderous applause, the meeting entered its first agenda item - watching the Nanjing Kaisheng 20th Anniversary Blessing Video. The video showcased Nanjing Kaisheng's milestones over the past 20 years and conveyed heartfelt blessings from various departments and on-site project teams for the company's 20th birthday. Random interview clips depicted the charm of Nanjing Kaisheng employees and demonstrated Nanjing Kaisheng's tolerant and harmonious corporate culture. Twenty years flashed by, and brief remarks from 20 employees with different lengths of service highlighted the company's humanistic warmth; the strong messages from the leadership made all employees excited.

Three employee representatives, old, middle-aged, and young, shared their stories with Nanjing Kaisheng. Li Zhenpeng, who joined 3 years ago, gained experience from the Lhasa Urban Investment General Contracting Project and the Poland Project, expressed gratitude for Nanjing Kaisheng's inclusiveness towards young employees and for providing them with a nurturing environment for growth.

Zhang Chengwei, who has worked at Nanjing Kaisheng for 13 years, expressed gratitude for the unity and support of the Nanjing Kaisheng family; he stated that Nanjing Kaisheng has a group of people as lovely as family, who are humble and diligent, pushing forward in technological innovation; Nanjing Kaisheng employees treat every project as a masterpiece, daring to try new things, dedicating themselves, and striving for excellence; it is precisely this spirit of dedication that has made Nanjing Kaisheng a capable, responsible, and popular company today.

Wang An, who has walked alongside Nanjing Kaisheng for 20 years, witnessed the mentorship between masters and apprentices and the generational inheritance of the corporate spirit. In his recollections, Li Dongfeng explored the site barefoot, overcoming hardships with ease and humor; the original site of the Lijiang project had special geological conditions, and a group of people discussed solutions all night long to determine the best plan... Nanjing Kaisheng is like a school, with a group of admirable teachers; Nanjing Kaisheng is like a family, advancing and retreating together in the face of challenges; Nanjing Kaisheng is like an army, ready to be called, capable of fighting, and destined to win.

The meeting then moved into an interactive "guess the picture" session. Under a humorous and relaxed hosting atmosphere, everyone actively competed to answer and win prizes. During this, Wang Quanhua, Yan Qingde, and Zhang Yan shared stories behind some of the photos, including the joy of overcoming difficulties to see the light, the achievements of surmounting obstacles to create legends, and "interesting anecdotes" from abroad where women proved their worth. Photos are moments in history, and these stories made the photos so vivid, as if they just happened, as if they were right before our eyes.

Afterwards, Shi Jianfeng, Zhang Yue, Li Tingting, Che Andi, Wang Xiaoxiang, Teng Fei, and Li Jing, a group of 7, recited selected beautiful passages from the Nanjing Kaisheng 20th Anniversary commemorative article. The wonderful words expressed the authors' sincere emotions, revealed Nanjing Kaisheng's successful experiences, promoted Nanjing Kaisheng's corporate culture, and showcased Nanjing Kaisheng's spiritual outlook.

The interactive "guess the picture" session continued. Historical photos passed before their eyes, and memories of challenging times resurfaced. Especially some older employees who experienced the early days of entrepreneurship were filled with emotion, tears blurring their vision, and overwhelming feelings choking their words. Zhang Tao recounted how members of the Indonesian Giti project team sacrificed their personal lives for the collective good, becoming selfless "reverse travelers" amidst the raging pandemic to ensure the smooth progress of the project. Chen Changbai spoke about the difficulties and risks at the initial stage of establishment, sighing, "It's hard to preserve a business, and it's also hard to start one." Li Anping talked about the challenges of technology evolving from backwardness to breakthroughs to leadership, hoping that future generations would learn from predecessors' experiences and methods to continuously drive technological progress. Ni Yongming shared unknown "regrets," and the unspeakable sacrifices made behind the success of Nanjing Kaisheng's career. All employees were deeply moved and touched. Dr. Zhang Yan, listening to everyone's stories, felt a flood of memories, and through his teary eyes, he once again saw a young and handsome Wu Xiusheng walking from the homogenization silo and under the chute; he saw that Wang Quanhua's promise to his daughter was repeatedly missed during the years of struggle; he saw faces that were once at their prime, now unable to hide the ravages of time. Kang Yusan spoke about the bittersweet experience of equipment development. Li Dongfeng, on the eve of retirement, looked back at how Nanjing Kaisheng dared to be the first to implement mixed ownership, which vigorously promoted enterprise development and industry progress... "A strong pass is like iron, and now we stride forward from the beginning." Employees recounted story after story, dust-sealed in memory; some were funny and interesting, some were inspiring, and some were deeply touching... The glory of Nanjing Kaisheng originates from the groundwork laid by these legendary stories, and Nanjing Kaisheng's success stems from the efforts of legendary individuals and teams to turn the tide.

Finally, Chairman Feng Jianhua expressed his respect and expectations to all Nanjing Kaisheng employees, hoping that at this historical juncture of connecting the past and ushering in the future, all Nanjing Kaisheng employees can continue to adhere to the direction of their dreams, uphold craftsmanship, forge ahead, brave the wind and waves, and create new glories.

The last agenda item of the conference was "Memory Seal," where all Nanjing Kaisheng employees wrote their wishes for the next twenty years on wish cards, which were then collected and collectively sealed in a memory capsule.

To the music of "A Loving and Harmonious Family," the celebration conference successfully concluded.

The conference was held with participants attending physically at the main venue and via video conferencing at 11 sub-venues. All Nanjing Kaisheng employees participated in the celebration.
