From August 2nd to 4th, the China National Materials Group Corporation (CNMG) 2023 First Half-Year Safety and Environmental Protection Conference and the Special Working Group Meeting on Safety and Environmental Protection, hosted by our company, was held in Liyang, Jiangsu Province. Zhu Bing, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and President of CNMG, attended the meeting and delivered a speech. Gao Aiguo, Secretary of the Party Committee and General Manager of the company, delivered a welcome address.

　　This meeting was the first offline safety and environmental protection special meeting held by CNMG since the outbreak of the epidemic. It was both a meeting to implement the important instructions of General Secretary Xi Jinping and an important meeting for various units to summarize, exchange, and learn. Gu Jianke, Deputy General Manager of Suzhou CNMG, representing the CNMG Special Working Group on Safety and Environmental Protection, reported on the work of the first half of 2023. Wang Qiang, General Manager of the CNMG Safety and Environmental Protection Department, made a semi-annual report on safety and environmental protection on behalf of CNMG.

Regarding the work in the second half of the year, Zhu Bing emphasized the need to take a high-level and overall perspective, effectively enhancing the awareness and action of safe and green development, always placing safety and environmental protection in the most important position, resolutely implementing the company's various decisions and deployments, resolutely safeguarding the bottom line and not crossing the red line, ensuring that safety and environmental protection work progresses in the right direction, and continuously promoting CNMG's safe and green development; to strictly control and implement, effectively strengthening the responsibility of safe, green and environmental protection development, tightening and implementing safety and environmental protection responsibilities, forming a work pattern of one level grasping one level and implementing it layer by layer, making good use of the effective means of implementing the full-staff safety responsibility, and promoting the formation of a situation of joint management and control.
