On February 24, the 14th Smart Manufacturing and Digital Transformation Conference of the Building Materials Industry, hosted by the China Building Materials Industry Planning and Research Institute and the Information Center of the Building Materials Industry, was held in Bengbu, Anhui. More than 400 representatives from local governments and industry authorities, academicians and experts, industry associations, key enterprises, and smart manufacturing system solution providers attended the conference. Chang Bin and Zhang Chengwei, deputy general managers of Nanjing Kaiseng, and relevant comrades from the smart manufacturing business unit were invited to attend.

　　The conference, themed "Digital Empowerment, Intelligent Future," aimed to further promote the implementation of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology's "Action Plan for Smart Manufacturing and Digital Transformation of the Building Materials Industry (2021-2023)". The conference summarized the "Smart Manufacturing into Parks (Bengbu Station)" activity, exchanged ideas and shared experiences on how to improve the level of smart manufacturing and digital transformation in the building materials industry, and organized a visit to a glass intelligent production line. Peng Shou, academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, chief engineer of China Building Materials Group, and chairman of Kaiseng Technology Group, attended the conference and shared his experience. Academician Qian Feng of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and Academician Ding Han of the Chinese Academy of Sciences delivered reports on "Digital-Real Fusion to Promote the Digital Transformation of Manufacturing" and "Robotic Intelligent Manufacturing", respectively.

　　An awards ceremony was held at the conference, and Nanjing Kaiseng won several awards. Among them, the "Overall Digital Transformation Solution for Cement Enterprises" won the "2021-2022 Building Materials Industry Smart Manufacturing Digital Transformation Excellent Solution Award"; Zhang Chengwei, deputy general manager of the company, won the "2021-2022 Building Materials Industry CIO Leader Award"; and Nian Jun from the smart manufacturing business unit won the "2021-2022 Building Materials Industry Informationization Advanced Individual Award".

　　In addition, three projects undertaken by Nanjing Kaiseng—Taian Zhonglian, Zunyi Saide, and Tongchuan Jidong—also won awards. Taian Zhonglian Cement Co., Ltd. won the "2021-2022 Building Materials Industry Two-Integration Demonstration Enterprise Award" and the "2021-2022 Building Materials Industry Intelligent Mining Pilot Demonstration Project Award".

　　The "Intelligent Factory for Cement Production Management" case submitted by Zunyi Saide Cement Co., Ltd. was selected as a "2022 Typical Case of Smart Manufacturing and Digital Transformation in the Building Materials Industry".

　　Jidong Cement Tongchuan Co., Ltd. won the "2021-2022 Building Materials Industry Smart Manufacturing Demonstration Factory Award".

　　These awards affirm Nanjing Kaiseng's outstanding achievements in the field of smart manufacturing in the cement industry and demonstrate its comprehensive strength in this area.
