The final two games of this year's basketball tournament concluded last Saturday at the Industrial Park Fitness Center. Although the outcomes of the two games were predictable, they were still noteworthy.
The first game was between the Zidian team and the Technology Center team. The Technology Center team had added substitute players, and their strength had improved. The Zidian team launched a major offensive in the second and third quarters, scoring frequently. Ultimately, they won 39:23.
The match between the Technology team and the Civil Engineering team was very exciting. The Technology team fully demonstrated their strength as a top team, scoring over 10 points each quarter and achieving 23 points in the third quarter. The Civil Engineering team, undeterred by their strong opponent, fought hard and managed to score unexpectedly. Especially in the final quarter, even with the game largely decided, the Civil Engineering team maintained their strong fighting spirit, becoming increasingly stronger, and even outscored the Technology team in the last quarter. This game showcased the most outstanding performances from both the Technology and Civil Engineering teams. The score of 60:38 broke the scoring record for both teams in this tournament and also broke the total scoring record of the previous and current tournaments.
With the active participation of all participating teams, the meticulous preparations of the organizers, and the strong support of the company's leadership and all employees, the 2nd Nanjing Kaisheng Men's Basketball Tournament has come to a successful conclusion. The Technology team successfully defended their championship title, the Zidian team retained their second place, and the Civil Engineering team won third place.
