On December 21, 2018, Nanjing Kaisheng's 2018 annual general contracting project management benchmarking meeting was held in the company's 16th-floor meeting room. Deputy General Managers Li Dongfeng, Li Jiandong, and Gao Aiguo, along with the management of various general contracting project departments and heads of relevant departments, totaling 44 people, attended the meeting, which was hosted by the Engineering Management Department.

This meeting focused on three major themes: project management benchmarking, project management topics, and PDCA application. Participants from various project departments and relevant departments elaborated on the implementation of the company's existing projects, combining the current market situation and mainstream project management concepts. Participants put forward their own ideas and suggestions on the company's current project management, and conducted heated discussions on key topics such as project personnel performance allocation, piecemeal procurement, and progress control. This project benchmarking meeting was the first benchmarking meeting held after the company's organizational restructuring, coinciding with the release of the company's new project management system (2018 version) this year. Through this benchmarking meeting, participants conducted in-depth discussions and exchanges on how the company's reformed organizational structure and project management system guide project planning and implementation.

This meeting was the company's seventh project management benchmarking meeting, lasting two days. The meeting fully demonstrated the highlights of the company's current project management, while also exposing some existing problems and the gap with excellent domestic and international project management methods and concepts. At the meeting, the company's leaders affirmed the hard work and positive achievements of the various general contracting project departments and departments in their project work, while also hoping that the various general contracting project departments and departments would benchmark against advanced practices, learn from each other, identify shortcomings, improve together, and clearly recognize and attach great importance to the shortcomings in general contracting project management.
Deputy General Manager Gao Aiguo pointed out that the current focus and difficulties in the company's project management work are progress and cost control. In the next step, the company will improve its work systems and standards, strengthen monitoring of various aspects of the project, and improve the overall control level of project operation.
Deputy General Manager Li Jiandong suggested that project managers should promptly exchange ideas and suggestions on project work with various departments to improve the efficiency of connection between departments and positions. At the same time, Mr. Li urged participants to pay attention to project progress, quality, safety control, and procurement management.
Deputy General Manager Li Dongfeng emphasized that the current economic situation remains severe, presenting both challenges and opportunities for the company. Project managers need to strive to improve their work abilities, strengthen their experience, and contribute to the company's general contracting construction work.
