On January 28, 2016, Nanjing Kaicheng International Engineering Co., Ltd. grandly held its 2015 Annual Summary and Commendation Conference. The conference analyzed the situation, commended the advanced, reviewed and summarized the work of 2015 and the "12th Five-Year Plan", proposed the guiding ideology for the "13th Five-Year Plan", and studied and deployed the work for 2016. Feng Jianhua, General Manager of the company, delivered a work report titled "Adhere to Benefit Priority, Promote Transformation and Upgrading, and Drive Nanjing Kaicheng's Reform and Development to a New Level". Li Dongfeng, Deputy General Manager, presided over the conference, and more than 300 employees of the company in Nanjing attended the meeting.
2015 was the most severe and complex year for Nanjing Kaicheng since its establishment. General Manager Feng Jianhua reviewed Nanjing Kaicheng's work in 2015 in his report and carefully analyzed the economic situation. He pointed out in the report that although the company's economic indicators in 2015 declined compared to 2014, these indicators were achieved against the backdrop of many companies in the industry suffering losses. The company's indicators were better than the overall level of the cement industry and engineering companies, and these achievements were hard-won. Summarizing the year's work, the achievements are mainly reflected in the following aspects: First, steady growth measures were solid and effective, and major indicators were successfully completed; Second, project construction continued to advance, and the awareness of cost reduction and efficiency improvement increased; Third, played a market-oriented role, promoted scientific and technological innovation and industry-research collaboration, and achieved significant results in smart manufacturing applications, new equipment applications, and mature equipment applications, and also made some progress in the development and design of new equipment and processes; Fourth, actively learned and applied new technologies, new standards, and new specifications, and the engineering design's ability to adapt to the market was enhanced; Fifth, management improvement activities made new progress; Sixth, talent training was more targeted, and significant results were achieved in talent team building; Seventh, the construction of a harmonious enterprise was further improved. 
In the report, General Manager Feng briefly reviewed the company's "12th Five-Year Plan" development. During the "12th Five-Year Plan" period, the company achieved rapid development, with operating income and profit increasing by 151% and 116% respectively compared to the "11th Five-Year Plan". Over the past 5 years, the company's influence in the cement engineering market has continuously grown, successfully transforming from a design institute to an engineering company. The company has always adhered to the essence of enterprise development, and its profitability and risk resistance capabilities are among the best domestic engineering companies, with gross profit margin, net profit margin, per capita operating income, and per capita profit indicators ranking at the forefront of domestic engineering companies.

During the "13th Five-Year Plan" period, the company faces a development situation vastly different from that of the "12th Five-Year Plan" period. General Manager Feng proposed the guiding ideology for the company's development during the "13th Five-Year Plan" period in his report: focusing on improving development quality and efficiency, aiming at strengthening and optimizing the engineering main business, vigorously implementing the "three major strategies" of innovation-driven, green development, and internationalization of bulk building materials, promoting the "four modernizations" of high-end, intelligent, green, and service-oriented, continuously enhancing enterprise vitality, influence, and risk resistance, and building Nanjing Kaicheng into a first-class international engineering company.
2016 is the first year of the "13th Five-Year Plan", and for Nanjing Kaicheng people, it is necessary to actively adapt to the new normal of economic development, change mindsets and working methods, and do a good job in 5 key areas: First, to tap market potential, innovate business models, and explore new international and domestic markets; Second, to realize the self-sufficiency of main equipment and enhance the competitiveness of self-owned technology and equipment; Third, to continuously promote fine management, improve development quality, and enhance overall benefits; Fourth, to strengthen talent cultivation and do a good job in reserving international business talents; Fifth, to strengthen risk control to ensure the company's continuous, stable, and healthy development.
