November 5, 2021 - On the first day of the fourth China International Import Expo, Nanjing Kesheng and Schneider Electric signed a cooperation agreement on cement digitalization and intelligence. According to the agreement, the two parties will carry out comprehensive cooperation in two aspects: digital empowerment and global engineering contracting. Feng Jianhua, Party Secretary and Chairman of Nanjing Kesheng, and Pang Xingjian, Senior Vice President and Head of Industrial Automation Business in China of Schneider Electric, signed on behalf of both parties. Zhou Yuxian, Party Secretary and Chairman of China National Building Materials Group, and Yin Zheng, Global Executive Vice President and President of China of Schneider Electric, witnessed the signing.
According to the agreement, in terms of digital empowerment, the two parties will jointly provide digital overall planning for cement enterprises and groups, and carry out special planning for major sectors such as the excellent manufacturing system, all-scenario customer value, and industry ecological chain building, and establish a standardized management system for digital intellectual property rights. The two parties will also jointly develop intelligent application technologies for the cement industry based on the industrial Internet platform, promote the construction of a cement industry ecosystem based on the digital economy, conduct pilot projects in the cement industry first, and then promote them throughout the industry.
In terms of global cement engineering contracting business, the two parties will carry out in-depth cooperation in exploring the global cement engineering contracting market. Based on Schneider Electric's rich operational network resources, advanced energy efficiency management technology and green energy management experience, and Nanjing Kesheng's rich experience in engineering contracting, the two parties will jointly promote the expansion of domestic and overseas cement engineering contracting and intelligent manufacturing businesses, and jointly promote the construction of energy-saving, efficient, and green modern cement plants.
