The key research and development project of China National Materials Group during the 14th Five-Year Plan, undertaken by CNBM Zhicheng (formerly Nanjing Kaishi), has passed third-party testing.

Recently, the key research and development project of China National Materials Group during the 14th Five-Year Plan, "Core Equipment and Technology of External Circulation Controlled Material Bed Final Grinding Vertical Mill," led by China National Building Material Science and Technology Co., Ltd. (formerly Nanjing Kaishi), has completed third-party testing of its core technical indicators, achieving a milestone progress.

In August this year, based on the National Building Materials Industry Cement Energy Efficiency and Environmental Protection Evaluation Testing Center, and standards such as GB 16780-2021 "Energy Consumption Limits for Cement Unit Products," GB/T 27977-2022 "Testing and Calculation Methods for Electrical Energy Efficiency of Cement Production," and GB/T 1346-2011 "Determination Methods for Water Demand, Setting Time, and Stability of Standard Consistency Cement," the Lunanzhonglian Cement Co., Ltd. KVM46.4-C external circulation cement vertical mill final grinding project successfully passed the core technical indicators and fan energy efficiency tests with on-site cooperation from relevant personnel of Lunanzhonglian Cement Co., Ltd. and our company. The test results show that the average hourly output during the test period was 183.7t/h, the electricity consumption per unit cement grinding output was 21.92kWh/t, and the water demand for standard consistency cement was 26.9%.

The Lunanzhonglian Cement Co., Ltd. KVM46.4-C external circulation cement vertical mill final grinding project was completed and put into operation at the end of 2014. It is the first external circulation cement vertical mill final grinding production line in China and abroad, researched and designed by our company, and also an important engineering application project of the "Core Equipment and Technology of External Circulation Controlled Material Bed Final Grinding Vertical Mill" key research and development project. The energy-saving solution of this project adopts the KVM-C external circulation cement vertical mill high-efficiency material bed core grinding equipment and external circulation final grinding process system with independent intellectual property rights. It consists of a technical group including full material external circulation, high grinding pressure ratio, high-adaptability hydraulic spring, uniquely optimized arc grinding curve with "grooves," and controlled material bed stability technology. With the hard work of the project research and development team and the strong support of Lunanzhonglian Cement Co., Ltd., the system operates stably and reliably, maintenance costs have decreased year by year, and significant breakthroughs have been made in cement grinding energy consumption and cement properties. This has important significance for promoting the progress of cement grinding energy-saving technology and provides a new solution for energy saving in cement grinding for the group and the industry.

Currently, the second-generation intelligent KVM-C vertical mill is under development. Next, the China National Building Material Science and Technology Co., Ltd. project research team will continue to optimize, upgrade, and iterate the project and promote its technological application, contributing to the company's high-quality innovative development of "digital, intelligent, green, and low-carbon," and providing strong technical support for implementing the company's 14th Five-Year Plan for science and technology and serving the future economic battlefield.
