On January 22, 2024, the MAL01 project in Laha, Poland, constructed by CNBM Zhike (formerly Nanjing Kaisheng), was successfully ignited. Stanislaw Sobczyk, Industrial Director of Haurui Poland, Krzysztof Byczynski, Project Director, and Hu Xiaoqing, Assistant General Manager of CNBM Zhike, witnessed the project ignition together with the project builders.

On January 25, following the successful ignition of the project, the first batch of clinker was successfully produced, marking a significant milestone in the Laha MAL01 project.

The Laha MAL01 project is Haurui Group's largest ongoing project in Europe. The project scope includes raw material processing to clinker conveying and includes alternative fuel processing and metering conveying. It is the world's first clinker production line using 90% alternative fuel, and it is also equipped with domestically produced pure low-temperature waste heat power generation and achieves intelligent engineering such as one-button start and stop. After commissioning, the project will have an annual clinker output of 1.15 million tons. In December 2023, the Laha MAL01 project was selected as a "typical case of China-Europe green and low-carbon development cooperation in 2023".
Since the start of civil construction on December 17, 2021, all members of the project team have worked together, in accordance with the established project goals and tasks, pooling their strength, working diligently, striving forward bravely, and withstanding the intertwined challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Russia-Ukraine war, severe weather, sharp increases in prices and shipping costs, and tight funding from the client. They made full use of local resources to actively promote project progress and completed the project ignition and commissioning on schedule.
Next, CNBM Zhike will meticulously organize the subsequent work, including project trial production and performance evaluation. At the same time, it will carefully summarize the experience of using a high proportion of alternative fuels in the project, continuously strengthen technological innovation, and make due contributions to the industry's green and low-carbon development.
