On June 3, CNBM Smart Materials held a launch meeting for the 2024 "Safety Production Month" activities. Chen Changbai, the company's Party Committee vice secretary and secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission, attended the meeting and delivered a speech. The meeting was chaired by Ni Jian, the company's vice general manager.

　　Hu Xiong hua, Minister of Safety and Environmental Protection, read out the "Implementation Plan for the 2024 "Safety Production Month" and "Ten Thousand Mile Safety Production Campaign" Activities of CNBM Smart Materials", making detailed arrangements and deployments for the "Safety Production Month" activities.

　　Attendees collectively watched the 2024 Safety Production Month theme film "Everyone Talks About Safety, Everyone Knows How to Respond to Emergencies - Smoothing the Lifeline".

　　Chen Changbai put forward three requirements in conjunction with this year's Safety Production Month activities: First, continue to implement the spirit of the group's and CNBM International's safety production accident warning meeting, learn from the cases, draw lessons from them, and carry out investigation and rectification of accident hidden dangers; second, accurately grasp the theme of the activity, and earnestly carry out the "Safety Production Month" activities. The whole company should continuously create an atmosphere of "everyone learning and talking about safety", normalize emergency training and drills, and continuously strengthen employees' emergency awareness and skills; third, we must truly attach importance to implementation, resolutely oppose bureaucracy and formalism, and leading cadres at all levels must strengthen their attention to safety work in terms of both thought and action. They should constantly reflect on and summarize the problems encountered in safety work, and strictly investigate and hold accountable those who fail to implement, violate regulations, or neglect their duties.

　　Ni Jian once again conveyed the speech of the leaders of China National Building Materials Group at the safety production accident warning meeting. He pointed out that CNBM Smart Materials (Chengdu) and various departments should raise their political standing, always put safety work in the first place, continuously improve and perfect safety production regulations and systems, implement the safety production responsibility list, and unswervingly put safety work into practice; strengthen on-site safety management, implement various safety protection measures, and strictly prevent accidents. In conjunction with the theme of Safety Production Month, emergency drills should be carried out, and the reporting system for production safety accidents and other emergency incidents should be strictly implemented.

　　This meeting was held in the form of an on-site and video conference, with more than 100 participants, including members of the company's leadership team, heads of various departments, and relevant personnel from subsidiaries and general contracting project departments.
