The Construction Party branch held a branch member meeting

On the morning of June 29th, coinciding with the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, the Civil Engineering Party branch held a branch meeting in conference room 1603, where all branch members participated in a special study session on Party history. Comrade Han Yang, the branch secretary, introduced major revolutionary events that occurred in Jiangsu under the theme of "Understanding the Red Stories of Jiangsu." This Party history study was conducted in four parts: the spirit of the Yuhua martyrs during the Second Domestic Revolutionary War, the glorious history of the New Fourth Army during the Anti-Japanese War, the victory of the Huaihai Campaign during the Liberation War, and the sharing of learning experiences by all Party member comrades.

Through understanding and studying the "red stories" that occurred in Jiangsu during three different periods, all the attendees deeply realized that "the red regime was hard-won," "the new China was hard-won," and "the Chinese characteristic socialism was hard-won." They gained a profound understanding of "why the Communist Party of China can succeed," "why Marxism works," and "why Chinese characteristic socialism is good." They understood why the Chinese revolutionary struggle was successful. General Secretary Xi Jinping regards Party history education as a required course—not only required, but also one that must be studied well. In Party history education, Party members and cadres must wholeheartedly dedicate themselves to studying this required course, constantly reflecting through in-depth understanding, promoting action through learning, and achieving unity of knowledge and action. They should draw strength, wisdom, and firm beliefs from the Party's centenary history, inspiring love for the Party and the will to strive.

Through the study of Party history, all the attendees expressed their understanding: Studying Party history, inheriting the "red genes" accumulated during the Party's centenary development, strengthening lofty ideals and beliefs, upholding Party leadership, remembering the original aspiration, striving hard, seizing opportunities, embarking on a new journey, and achieving outstanding results to welcome the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Party.
