1．Project brief introduction

      Jiangsu Jinfeng Cement Group Co., Ltd. is located in the northwest of Shezhu town, Liyang city, Jiangsu province. It was founded in 1980, formerly known as Liyang City Jinshan Cement Plant, changed its name to Liyang Jinfeng Cement Co., Ltd. in Jan, 2000, and established Jiangsu Jinfeng Cement Group in Oct, 2004. After expansion over the years through constant technological transformation, the group has developed from a small cement plant with annual output less than 100,000t into a large enterprise with nine (one production line with capacity 2500t/d, eight production lines with capacity 5000t/d) dry process rotary kiln cement production lines, and annual production capacity can reach 25 million tons, now it is the largest cement manufacturer in Jiangsu province.

      The nine cement production lines of Jiangsu Jinfeng Cement Group locate within the same production plant region, the production scale is large and is the country's largest single cement production base; except for the initial three production lines, the subsequent six 5000t/d cement production lines are designed by Nanjing Kisen, and also core equipment of burning system are supplied by Nanjing Kisen.

      Nanjing Kisen International Engineering Co., Ltd. holds a comprehensive quality management in the long term, and improves the awareness of leadership and technical staff toward ensuring design quality, design schedule and on-site service. Under unified leadership of cement plant and design company, both lower investment and quality assurance purpose are achieved during drawing design and construction acceptance phases. Based on the project, employees team on-site and commissioning team solve problems occurred in the construction rapidly to ensure the smooth progress of the project, and get praise from Jiangsu Jinfeng Cement Group and construction unit.

      2．Main technical features of the production line

       (1) Burning system: adopts five stage preheater system with online calciner and the third generation grate cooler that have proprietary intellectual property rights and international advanced level, and uses domestic Φ4.8×74m rotary kiln. Currently, the burning system output of six production lines has already exceeded design capacity and burning heat consumption is lower than design indexes.

       (2) The entire production line uses Swiss ABB's automation and control system, the implementation of the whole plant equipment of automatic control and control systems together with electronic scales and cold end control system networking communications. Thereby, the human factors are reduced and the production management is improved. The automatic control level is leading in the domestic level. After years’ operation, the system is reliable, has high accuracy and good effect.

       (3) Civil engineering: the civil engineering mainline uses reinforced concrete and steel structure, profiled steel roof to meet production process requirements and meanwhile considering the safety, utilization, conservation and corporate image in accordance with principle of adjusting measures to local condition, applicable, economic and aesthetic, which has reduced investment cost.

       (4) In the "Three Wastes" treatment areas: in strict accordance with the relevant national norms and standards. The control measures of smoke, dust, waste water and noise pollution have reached good results; all of them have met emission standards.

       (5) The pure low temperature waste heat power generation system is planning when main production line is under construction, which is in line with the national energy saving and comprehensive utilization of resources policy. Location of waste heat generation, heat source interface and water supply system are overall considered during construction; each specialty such as general layout, waste heat power generation, equipment, process, civil work, electrical and automation are integrated combined. Within one year’s operation of main production line, waste heat power generation system is put into production successfully, and good economic and social benefits are achieved as an energy saving demonstration project in Jiangsu province.

       (6) The plant sites of three production lines are flood land with low-lying and difficult for drainage. However, improving the overall elevation of site is bound to increase the amount of fill, a comprehensive consideration is made for drainage, water transport and supply. The northeast of plant site is adjacent to Ludang canal, and the south will be a water channel, water pumping house is located at southeast corner used for water supply of production and waste heat power generation, while the western end of the plant will be a basin. The road access to outside only is available at eastern end of plant site, which forms a peninsular shape and surrounded by water. During rain period, plant ponding water can be drained through three directions, and the basin and water channel can be used for production through processing and win-win purpose is achieved.

      Regarding foundation treatment of flood land, natural foundation is adopted as far as possible according to the engineering geological conditions, combined with the characteristics of various building structures. The pile foundation program is optimized based on the principle of safety first, easy for construction and economic rationality. Manual dig-hole pile, mechanical hole pile, precast pile etc. are adopted during construction.

      Two large raw mills and one small raw mill, i.e. two vertical mills for 5000t/d production line and one vertical mill for 2500t/d production line are equipped. The total capacity of three raw mills can meet raw meal requirement of three 5000t/d production line burning system, gives full play to the maximum potential capacity of main equipment, and saves investment, which is economic and reasonable.

      3．Project Progress

      Jiangsu Jinfeng Cement Group entrusted Nanjing Kisen International Engineering Company totally six EP production lines, accomplished by three steps. First 5000T/D production line was signed contract with Nanjing Kisen at the beginning of 2005,second, third and fourth line were signed on second half of 2006, fifth and sixth line were signed on 2010. From 2005 to 2011, averagely, Jiangsu Jinfeng Cement Group constructed one 5000T/D clinker production line each year; it has been cooperated with Nanjing Kisen smoothly and happily.

      4．Project achievement

      The six 5000t/d cement clinker production lines of Jiangsu Jinfeng Cement Group designed by Nanjing Kisen, have production ability of 6300t/d in fact, regeneration capacity of every ton of clinker is over 37 kwh, unit heat consumption ≤104 kg of standard coal, each production specification can reach advanced level in China. The Jinfeng brand 52.5#, 42.5# and 32.5# Portland cement gained national production quality certificate, ISO certificate and Environmental Management System certificate, and also gained rewards as “Jiangsu Famous Brand”, “National inspection-free product” and so on. Jinfeng brand cement has a batch of fix customer with certain scale in large cities as Shanghai, Nanjing, Suzhou, Wuxi and Changzhou, the production quality has good reputation in the clients.
